Run: 4h 31m (33.2 miles) | Cross Train: 4h 01m | Gym: 0h 52m
The balance has shifted this week, reducing the running volume, and instead pushing out more than four hours of cycling and swimming keeping the overall workload substantial.
The longest single session was Saturday’s bike ride at a little over two hours, then straight out for a short run, for a final bit of practice for the bike-to-run transition before race day.

In addition was a decent mobility session and two swims. Triathlon training is now shaping the week, rather than simply being extra work added around the running.
Sunday’s 10-miler was controlled at around 7:50 pace and an average heart rate of 139. With the 70.3 only a week away, that feels like a sensible way to finish the final build.
